We hope that our website captures the heart of our school and compels you to visit us in person. Here you will find a community that views learning as a natural and important part of daily life. Each multi-aged class is composed of children with diverse interests, talents, and backgrounds who enjoy a challenging, creative and experientially-based learning environment. In partnership with the school, families support common values, including respect for self and others, personal responsibility, and reflection as a tool for learning and decision-making.

You will discover a sense of intimacy at Perkins School. Housed in a single building, our  campus feels like a home and has newly renovated classrooms, a modern playground, a lovely pea patch garden, and a child-friendly library. Each of these spaces provides a safe place for students to explore, to develop their skills, and to further their understanding of their world.  Frequent field trips enlarge their sense of connection to the local and global community. Small classes assure individual attention, and because every teacher knows every student, meaningful relationships develop.
