ADMISSIONS EVENTS
Campus Tour (required)
Attending a Campus Tour is your first step in learning about our community, our approach to learning, and what sets Perkins apart. We’ll take you on a guided walk through our campus, with an opportunity to observe a variety of subjects and grade levels.
Barry, our Head of School, will also join us for a Q&A session.
Campus Tours last 45-60 minutes and are for adults only.
Open House (optional)
Highly recommended! We offer two Parent Open Houses where teachers present information about their curriculum and approach to working with students, and share examples of a typical day at Perkins. Parents leave with a deep understanding of Perkins. Teachers, administrators, and several current Perkins parents also chat 1:1 with parents.
Open Houses are on Saturday mornings and are for adults only.
Parent Meeting (required)
After submitting your application, you’ll meet with a member of our admissions team. This informal conversation is an opportunity for you to ask general questions and ones more specific to your child - and to share your goals for your child’s education. Meetings last approximately 45 minutes.
Student Visit (required)
Kindergarten - Kindergarten applicants will be invited to join us on March 6, 2027 to participate in a variety of engaging activities led by our Kindergarten and 1st grade teachers.
1st - 5th Grades - Older students typically visit us in February during school hours. These visits are an opportunity for applicants to experience a day in the life of a Perkins student.
